Reflections from Preachers
Proclaiming the Gospel for People in Political Turmoil

As preachers think about and plan for their preaching leading up to and coming out of November’s election, Journal for Preachers is offering some pieces for election outside our normal publishing schedule. Starting today and continuing for the next few weeks, we are offering two articles by colleagues who are addressing their own reflections on how to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in this time of turmoil.

We are making these articles available at no cost – both to everyone in the Ministry Collaborative network and to all current and former (and potential!) Journal for Preachers subscribers. The first two are linked below.

Since its founding in 1977, Journal for Preachers has sought to support and amplify faithful, imaginative preaching for the church. In 2022, Erskine Clarke, along with other JP founders including Walter Brueggemann asked The Ministry Collaborative to assume publishing of JP. The Ministry Collaborative is grateful for the legacy of JP and the opportunity to carry its mission forward.
